Thank you to everyone who joined us April 8 and 9, 2025, for the Barbara Zirkin Memorial Three-Point Challenge benefitting GO2 for Lung Cancer, hosted by Sophie and Emma Zirkin in memory of their amazing grandmother, Barbara Zirkin. When: Tuesday, April 8, 9 AM ET to Wednesday, April 9, 9 PM ET
Where: Wherever you are! Participate from your favorite court in your community.
Why: Sophie and Emma are high school basketball players in Baltimore, MD, and lost their grandmother to lung cancer. Sophie holds the Maryland high school single-season record for three-pointers, and Emma is a top-20 Freshman three-point shooter nationally. They wanted to combine their passion for basketball with this important cause and invite you to participate!

10:30 a.m. - The Palace at Zirkin Hills - Hoops with Team Vitans
12:45 - 1:30 p.m. - The Park School of Baltimore - 3-Point Shooting with the Park School Students
3 - 4 p.m. - The Park School of Baltimore - Foul shooting contest with former Senator Bobby Zirkin vs. Loyola High School star player!
4:30 - 6 p.m. - Randallstown High School - Sophie Zirkin 3-point shooting with Randallstown Students
7 - 9 p.m. - Goucher College - The Zirkin Family Hoops with the Goucher Gophers
10 p.m. - Midnight -Stevenson University - The Zirkin Family Hoops with the Stevenson Mustangs
Wednesday, April 9
9:30 - 11:30 a.m. - University of Maryland Xfinity Center - Fear the Turtle - Hoops with the Zirkin Family and guests
2:30 - 4 p.m. - Capital One Arena - 3-point shooting before Wizards Game - Sophie and Emma Zirkin 3-point shooting - 1,000 threes in 90-minute challenge
7 p.m.- Washington Wizards v. Philadelphia 76ers
